Sworn in as Red Bank City Judge
Friends and Neighbors,
My name is Bryan Hoss, and it has been my honor and privilege to serve as Red Bank Judge since December 2025. When I was asked by the city of Red Bank to step into the role as Red Bank Judge, I was both humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that my family and I call home. Judge Houston has been a respected colleague and friend for many years, and continuing his work of serving the citizens of Red Bank has been one of the greatest honors of my professional career.
Since taking the bench, I have worked to uphold the law with fairness, integrity, and respect for every person who comes before the court. As a resident of Red Bank, I understand that the decisions made in our courtroom impact real people, real families, and the overall well-being of our community. That responsibility is one I take seriously.
For more than 25 years, I have practiced criminal law throughout Tennessee, as well as in Federal Court and Georgia, handling complex cases at both the trial and appellate levels. My experience includes many jury trials, including some of the most serious criminal cases in our justice system. Throughout those years, I regularly practiced in Red Bank Municipal Court, giving me firsthand knowledge of the important role our court plays in serving and protecting our community.
In March 2025, the Red Bank Commission unanimously voted 5-0 to appoint me as Red Bank Judge. Each Monday, our court handles between 100 and 150 cases. While many involve traffic violations, others involve serious criminal matters that require sound judgment, legal experience, and a commitment to public safety. Red Bank deserves a judge with the experience and temperament necessary to make those difficult decisions fairly and consistently.
Serving as a judge has reinforced my belief that justice requires both accountability and compassion. Every case is different, and every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Our court works to hold individuals accountable for their actions while also helping people address the challenges that may have brought them into the justice system. Whether through substance abuse treatment, anger management counseling, or other rehabilitative programs, we strive to provide opportunities for people to make positive changes in their lives while protecting the safety of our community.
I believe Red Bank deserves a judge who is experienced, ethical, approachable, and committed to serving the public with professionalism. A judge must listen carefully, apply the law fairly, and always act with integrity. Those principles have guided me throughout my legal career and continue to guide me every day on the bench.
I am proud of the work we have accomplished, grateful for the trust that has been placed in me, and excited about the future of our community. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign. I would be honored to earn your support and your vote.
Sincerely,
